Twelve matches into the season and ex-Locomotiv Moscow manager Yuri Semin has Dynamo Kyiv not “just winning” but dominating in every facet of the game. With only two slip-ups, they are scoring at a five-fold clip to what they allow. Dynamo Kyiv faces Karpaty Lviv on Saturday in a match that should be no problem and they will likely rest players ahead of next weeks return to the Champions League against Porto.
The biggest match of the weekend is Metalurh Donetsk’s visit to Vorskla Poltava. Both clubs have pulled away from the balance of the table and this match-up of the second and third position of the table could prove to be very important later-on as European spots are won.
