Denys Oliynyk joins Metalist Kharkiv
By: sasha | December 9th, 2008After advancing to next round of the UEFA Cup, Metalist Kharkiv continues to advance their goals and have just announced the signing of Ukraine U21 midfielder Denys Oliynyk from Dynamo Kyiv.
The twenty-one year-old midfielder, who has been on loan with Arsenal Kyiv where he amassed five goals this year, will provide Zhovto-Syni a huge boost in the attack. Club president Aleksandr Yaroslavski said of his arrival:
“The arrivals of Berezovchuk and Oliynyk are just the start of our winter transfer campaign. We have quite big ambitions this spring in the second half of the Ukrainian league and the UEFA Cup. These players aren’t our last signings. There will be big names (coming), maybe even sensational ones.”
