Metalist Kharkiv fortifies with Argentine Walter Acevedo
By: sasha | January 6th, 2009Metalist Kharkiv continues to fortify its side as it has added Argentine midfielder Walter Acevedo from San Lorenzo of the Argentine Primera División. The twenty-two year-old midfielder has represented Argentina as a U17 and U20 and comes over on a year-long loan with an option to purchase at the conclusion of that term.
This is unlikely to be the final addition as manager Myron Markevych is very actively pursuing a number of other players, including striker Jérémy Perbet who is on-loan with Belgian First Division club AFC Tubize from RC Strasbourg.
