Metalist Kharkiv v Olympiacos UEFA Cup preview

By: sasha | December 3rd, 2008

After their shocking 1-0 defeat of legendary Turkish side Galatasaray, Metalist Kharkiv can qualify if they defeat Olympiacos. Both clubs are coming off great victories as the Greek champions destroyed Benfica 5-1 in their last match. Myron Markevych has the Zhovto-Syni ready to continue what is already their finest run in European competition and can expect tremendous support at home. His side will be without Ukraine national Marko Dević who is suspended. Olympiacos will have the fortune of Vasilis Torosidis returning from injury but are without fellow Greek national teammate Ieroklis Stoltidis and great veteran Darko Kovačević.

Look for a very exciting match as both clubs fight for the chance to advance.
