week 8 of Ukrainian Premier League

I’ve been putting a great deal of thought into how to present readers a picture of the Ukrainian Premier League and after reading some other blogs and taking note of comments since many don’t have access to watch league matches. I thought the best way is to introduce teams and a few of the key players with the week reviews. I’ve tried to keep it very brief today or it would be impossible to follow and for clubs Metalist Kharkiv in the UEFA Cup and Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, I’ll handle that more when I go preview individual matches.

Week eight of the Ukrainian Premier League is complete with the following results and still the biggest surprise is Shakhtar Donetsk inability to score and win matches. They were held today to a nil draw against Arsenal Kyiv.
